XivoramelGaming was founded in 2018 by a small group of journalists and lifelong gamers who felt that the New Zealand gaming community deserved a dedicated, locally-focused review platform — one that didn't just echo overseas opinions but offered a genuine Kiwi perspective on the games we all love.
We operate from our office in Auckland's CBD, and our team of twelve reviewers covers everything from blockbuster AAA releases to hidden indie gems. Every review is written by someone who has genuinely played the game — not skimmed a press kit.
We are fully independent. We accept no sponsored content, no paid placements, and no publisher advertising. Our only obligation is to our readers.

We never accept payment for favourable coverage. Our scores reflect genuine assessments, nothing more.
Our reviewers spend a minimum of 20 hours with each title before writing a single word. For longer games, that number climbs considerably.
We factor in local server quality, regional release schedules, and community feedback unique to the New Zealand gaming scene.
